 The Randia fitzalani is an evergreen tree with large, glossy dark green foliage and is commonly referred to as the Native Gardenia. It produces clusters of small white flowers similar to the exotic gardenias and large yellow fruit that are edible when soft. The Randia fitzalani prefers a sunny spot and well drained soil for maximun growth. Available at Eplants in 45lt, 200lt, 200lt & 400lt.

 Rhaphis excelsa

 Eplants Trade Nursery- Rhaphis excelsaThe Rhapis excelsa or lady palm is a multi-stemmed shade palm growing up to 4m in height. A popular choice indoors or in a pot, the lady palm has a clumping habit and is similar in appearance to bamboo. The Rhapis excelsa is a slow growing miniature palm that enjoys a tropical climate including a moist and shady condition. Available at Eplants in 300mm, 45lt & 100lt sizes.

Rhoeo dwarf is a short-stemmed foliage plant which makes attractive clumping rosettes to approximately 20cm. Forming a solid groundcover of purple and green sword-shaped leaves that are green above and purplish below. The unusual flowers, borne down among the leaves, appear as clusters of tiny white flowers nestled within two boatshaped, purplish bracts. Rhoeo is ideal for use as a quick-growing groundcover, thriving in full sun to part shade and is also suitable as in pots.  Rhoeo is extremely drought-tolerant, even growing in cracks in a concrete wall. Available at Eplants in 140mm pots in both 'discolour' & 'stripe me pink'.

 Strelitzia

Strelitzia reginae is a bold structural plant, which forms large evergreen clumps of stiff leaves growing up from the base. The grey-green banana-like leaves grow approx 1.5 m in height and the flowers stand above the foliage at the tips of long stalks. The Strelitzia reginae is an easy plant to grow in the garden. Plants do well in full sun to semi-shade, love a rich loamy soil and plenty of water throughout the year. They respond well to regular feeding with a slow release fertilizer and compost. They are however very drought tolerant plants and will thrive in most soils and can survive with very little water once established.

 Syzygium 'jambos'

 The Jambos is an attractive evergreen tree to approximately 8m. It boasts a dense, rounded crown of slender, wide spreading branches with dark green glossy leaves and pink new growth. Fluffy, greenish-white flowers in rounded clusters appear on this tropical tree during spring and summer. It can tolerates a wide range of soils and conditions, including windy and sheltered coastal, but does best in a warm position with moist, fertile, well-drained soils in full sun or part shade. Available at Eplants in 200mm, 300mm, 45lt & 100lt pots.
