 | -Magnolia little gem is a Dwarf variety of the evergreen magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora), being approximately one a quarter of its size. 'Little Gem' will reach 4m-8m high and 2.5m-5m wide. | -Commonly referred to as Dipladenia, Mandevillas are known for their showy flowers which, in tropical climates, can bloom profusely almost all year round. The Mandevilla does well in tubs and hanging baskets and likes a sunny position but will tolerate partial shade. Growing up to 2m in height and spread, the Mandevilla is ideal on a lattice fence or trailing up posts. This species needs a little maintenance from time to time to keep it looking full and lush. | -Melastoma affine is a fast growing, evergreen, bushy shrub with attractive dark green foliage and red stems. Its large purple flowers last only a few days but are produced over many months. Flowers are followed by black fruit with a sweet, edible flesh which stains the mouth. Melastoma affine makes an attractive shrub suitable for tropical to warm temperate regions. |
 | -Comprised of almost 50 species of trees, shrubs & vines, the genus Metrosideros is native to the islands of the Pacific Ocean. Cultivated for their abundant flowers, as street trees or in home gardens the flower of the Metrosideros is generally red and similar to that of a Callistemon. The Metrosideros 'thomasii' is the most popular cultivar of the Metrosideros genus, however it can be hard to find due to both its popularity and difficulty to grow. | -The Michelia 'figo' or Port Wine Magnolia is a species of Michelia popular in tropical climates such as Queensland. It is a small evergreen shrub with glossy, leathery foliage and small whitish-pink flowers. Due to its sweet fragrance, the Michelia has received the nick-name "Bubblegum Tree" and flowers during late spring and early summer. The Michelia 'figo' likes to be planted in well drained position with lots of water during summer. Available at Eplants in 200mm, 300mm & 45lt containers. |
