Best known as a hardy and versatile plant species that can tollerate both wet and dry conditions. Dianella varieties can be used as borders or ornamental features and are native to Australia. Preferring a sunny spot in any garden most dianella varieties produce a light to dark blueish or purple fruit and flower in the warmers months of the year.  Also known as the 'gymea lily', the Doryanthes excelsa is a a striking feature plant suitable for coastal gardens. With large straps of foliage growing up to 1 m in length, the Doryanthes excelsa produces a spine of up to 6m bearing an apex of vibrant red flowers. Lime green in foliage, the Doryanthes excelsa can be affective used as features or as mass plantings. It is a hardy and attractive plant native to Australia and attracts native birds. Echeverias are an amazing and highly varied group of succulent plants widely used as garden plants and collected by hobby growers Australia wide and are one of the most commonly used forms of Succulent in todays landscapes. Hardy & drought tollerant, Echiveria varieties are quickly becoming the "must have" addition in modern Australian gardens. With dramatic colours and intricate formations, Echiverias are an interesting and low maintenace solution for water concious gardenscapes.  Echeverias are rosette forming succulents and flower like heads can be only a centimetre or two across or giants with heads up to 60cm.  Flower stems appear generally in the summer months with tall upright spikes each carrying a number of upside down flowers ranging from 3mm to 20mm long.  Elaeocarpus is agenus of tropical and subtropical evergreen trees and shrubs. With  approximately 350 species distributed Australia wide, Eplants can supply Elaeocarpus in some of its most popular forms being the Eumundii, Obovatus & Reticulatus. Elaeocarpus reticulatus (Blueberry Ash) is a strikingly beautiful and hardy plant, which grows between 3-15m tall and 3-5m wide. Elaeocarpus obovartus or hard Quandong is a medium to large tree with white, bell shaped flowers September to November. Elaeocarpus eumundii is the most highly sought after of the Elaeocarpus varieties, with its attractive glossy green and dark brown leaves througout the year. A favorite landscape shrub in Australia, the gardenia has very fragrant creamy-white flowers and glossy, deep green foliage. There are over 200 species of Gardenias, the species are of primary importance being the Gardenia magnifica, florida & radicans. Thr Gardenia magnifica  has larger flowers than Florida, and grows 1.5 to 2 m high. The Gardenia florida only reaches 1.2 to 1.5M height and has smaller flowers. The Gardenia radicans is a creeping Gardenia groundcover. Gardenias like semi shade - dappled light, or morning sun, with some warmth. Although sometimes they can be seen growing in a full sun position, their flowers burn and become damaged in the hot sun. Available at Eplants in sizes ranging fom 140mm to 300mm.

 The Gazania rigens is a tough, low-growing ground cover with lance-shaped leaves and brightly coloured daisy-like flowers in orange, yellow, cream & white. Often referred to as the 'treasure plant', the Gazania rigens is a coastal species of Gazania that grows abundantly along the east coast of Queensland all the way down to Victoria's coastal regions. Attractive to bees, butterflies and birds, this plant is drought tollerant and suitable for containered use. Available at Eplants in 140mm pots.
